Hello! My name is Susan Senseman and I am from Orlando, Florida. I attended the University of Florida for both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. After attending UCF's Coding Bootcamp, I was fortunate enough to secure a position in data analytics. In this position I continued to learn and finesse my skills from ETL, Python, and Excel to data visualization. While in my tenure as a data analyst, I truly enjoyed the impact I could make while utilizing my knowledge and communication and presentation skills.

As you can see, I've held several different careers throughout my life. All of these have contributed different life experiences which have made a a well-rounded human being with both technical and soft skills.

Work Experience

Data Analyst

June 2023-December 2023

OneRail

I worked as a data analyst. I created weekly reports as well as writing Python scripts to help wtih efficiency. I also assisted with financial regression and forecasting using APIs. Throughout my time I grew the most when getting to refine my skills so that I was able to produce quality results and positive financial impacts within the company.

Head Grower

2019-June 2023

Florida Cactus, Inc.

While at Florida Cactus I held a management role as Head Grower. I was in charge of plant health from the time cuttings were delivered to until they were sold. This included the care of the plants, as well as coordinating 20+ employees to ensure plants were potted and organized in a timely and efficient manner. My biggest takeaway from this position was soft skills required to be a manager such as clear and precise instruction, as well as creating a positive work environment.

Music Teacher

2016-2019

Orange County Public Schools

Teaching elementary students was a true joy and taught me many necessary administrative skills. I effectively communicated foregin concepts to students while also assessing them based on KPIs. This enables me to communicate effectively with stakeholders and coworkers about my work and the meaning behind it.
